The DT Aero 55 Disc’s 2-way clincher design promotes easier installation of tubeless tires. Tubeless tires are known for their high rolling resistance and immunity to punctures. Made from 100% carbon fiber (a combination of Toray T700 and T800 carbon cloths), the rims of these 700C wheels are lighter and stronger than aluminum equivalents. The DT Aero 55 by ICAN features 25mm wide rims which offer more stability than slimmer equivalents.
Each wheelset comes with an option between DT 240S and DT 350S Swiss Hubs. Both hubs are incredibly light and durable. These Swiss hubs provide a smooth transition of power from your body to the wheel. With a flawless freewheel system, you are sure to enjoy each riding experience. DT 240S/350S hubs are compatible with 10/11 Speed Shimano Cassettes and Shimano Centerlock Discs. The DT Swiss Hubs are held in place by 24 aerodynamic Sapim CX-Ray spokes on each wheel. CX-Ray spokes are famous for their lightweight, and top riders and triathletes use them for their high performance in fatigue testing.
