The ICAN DT Aero 40 Disc Wheelset is a tubeless ready 40mm deep wheelset. Its 2-way clincher finish promotes easy tire installation. With tubeless tires, you do not have to worry about punctures. Tubeless tires also offer more rolling resistance. These 700C wheels are 25 mm wide. Wide-rim wheelsets provide more stability by causing the bike to assume forward momentum in a straight trajectory. From the shape of the spokes to the shape of the rims; the Aero 40 Disc wheelset features an aerodynamic profile which promotes smooth and stable air flow while in motion. The Rim is made from 100% carbon fiber (Toray T700 and T800 Carbon Cloths) which is lighter than aluminum equivalents. The Aero 40 Disc wheelset can support a rider weight of up to 105kg or 232Lbs.
A wheelset is not complete without a set of hubs. The Aero 40 Disc Wheelset comes with ICAN’s D01 high-performance hubs which promote the effortless transition of power and smooth freewheel action. These ICAN hubs are secured by 24 aerodynamically sound Sapim CX-Ray spokes on each wheel. ICAN D01 hubs are compatible with 10/11 Speed Shimano Cassettes.
