Going fast is hard. It takes a lot of effort and training. To help make it a little easier, we are offering our 86mm Fast and Light carbon fiber rim as a straight pull wheelset. This carbon fiber wheelset will help you beat your PB, and you will be doing it in style.

Our 86mm deep section rim is constructed from Toray T700 carbon fiber. Our engineers love Toray T700 for building wheelsets. It allows them to build a strong, stiff, and light wheelset but more importantly it enables us to build you an affordable wheelset. With our pricing, our 86mm deep rim is almost like free speed.

The rim is a modern wide aero shape. This allows you to ride a wider tire on our rim. This is great for your aerodynamics. The meeting point of tire and rim becomes a smoother junction, and this stops the air from breaking up into turbulent air right at the front of your bike. It is adding speed, and with a wider tire it is also adding comfort, what more could you need?

Our 86mm rim is stiff, so we had to make sure the straight pull spokes that we use do not flex and ruin the quality of our rim. We chose to use Sapim CX-Ray spoke; these spokes are super light, as light as titanium, but thanks to their manufacturing are stiff as a non-butted spoke. Your wheel will not flex.

To finish the package off and to be able to allow us to give you a two-year guarantee we had to use a reliable and lightweight hubset. We picked sealed bearing Novatec hubs, Novatec build hubs that work and do it without being flashy.

Wide Rim Tech

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.
