Did you look at our 38mm climbing DT Swiss wheels and think you want a pair of wheels that marries the climbing abilities but adds speed on the flat? We thought about that a lot and have decided to pair our 40mm Toray T700 carbon fibre rim with our 50mm Toray T700 carbon fibre rim to build you the ultimate DT Swiss wheelset.

When you want to add speed to your road bike you want deep section rims. Sometimes though it may be windy or you may have a few climbs on your routes. This is why we have put our wide 40mm rim on the front. It is less susceptible to crosswinds and makes climbing a little easier. We placed our wide 50mm rim on the rear to turbocharge your descents and flats, making you a super-fast all around set of wheels.

We offer you a choice of tubeless ready or tubular formats for these rims. Allowing you to tailor your ride experience further. To keep the high-end quality of these wheels up, we have fitted the industry-leading Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes are amongst the lightest available but are also some of the most fatigue resistant spokes.

To finish off this package, we are giving you the choice of either a 240S or 350S hubs. Both feature the legendary DT Swiss quality, with the 240S being lighter than the 350S. Both of these hubsets can be serviced by hand, with no tools needed. They also both feature the instantaneous connection that is the DT Swiss star ratchet system, every bit of pedal movement will push you forward.
