50mm DT 240s/350s 23mm

If you want speed, you want 50mm carbon fiber wheels on your road bike. These 50mm carbon rims have to be high quality though; they need to be laced to high-quality hubs, they need to be affordable. That is why we have laced to these rims to your choice of DT Swiss hubs.

We offer this wheelset with a choice of DT Swiss 240S or 350S hubs. 350S is the entry level hub to the quality DT Swiss world. The 240S sits higher up the range but it’s main difference to the 350S hub is that it is a bit lighter. Both hubs are an excellent choice for your wheelset though, go for the one that suits your budget best.

Both hub models use the DT Swiss star ratchet system. This system sits in your rear hub and is how your pedal power moves the wheel around. The star ratchet system does this instantaneously, no wasted watts here. They also both feature sealed bearings that are serviceable without tools, saving you time and money in the long run.

We have laced these hubs to our high modulus carbon fiber rim with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes are of the highest quality and feature the great mix of lightweight and stiffness. The exact blend that all road riders are looking for and the qualities that we have put in our aero 50mm carbon rim.

Our rim is constructed from high modulus Toray T700 carbon fibre. This is because we have years of experience of using this material to build the highest quality bike parts. Our 50mm rim will cut through the air like a knife through butter. You can pick this rim in tubular or clincher form, choose the one that suits you.
