Our most popular standard 50mm wheelset has a 38mm rim in front for the sake of streamlining and resistance to crosswinds on the flat. And at the rear a 50mm deep rim, which makes you feel at home, securely tucked into the peloton. Some wheelsets come with a Novatec hub and straight-pull spokes. Others have alloy Powerway R13 hubs, or the alloy/carbon mix of the lightweight aluminum R13 model. You can even opt for the advanced aluminum/carbon Powerway R36. All hubs have sealed bearings. ICAN standard 50mm wheels have a tempting range of spokes, including aero types to cut down on the turbulence stirred up by a fast-rotating wheel. The famous Sapim CX-Ray spokes ride like titanium. Choose your tyre â€?and let it dictate which rim you need. Our customers can pick and mix â€?some wheelsets have a rim that’s only 38mm deep, and slinky aero models for triathletes which measure 86mm.
