Recommended for cyclocross racing, road cycling, and gravel darting, the DT Aero 45 Disc in a tubeless ready carbon wheelset by ICAN. Made from 100% carbon fiber, these 700C rims are among the lightest wheelsets in the market right now. For better rolling resistance and immunity against punctures, tubeless tires have gained popularity among cyclists in recent years. Because of these qualities, the ICAN engineering team settled on a 2-way clincher rim that supports the hustle-free installation of tubeless tires. For effective racing, stability is enhanced by 25mm wide rims.
The DT Aero 45 Disc rim features a 3K Carbon Braking Track.
The DT Aero 45 Disc comes with either DT 240s or DT 350s hubs. DT 240s/350s are high-quality hubs from Switzerland. These hubs provide effective power transfer to the wheel and smooth wheel motion. Made almost entirely from carbon fiber, these Swiss hubs are incredibly light. That’s not all, the DT 240S/350S hubs are compatible with 10 and 11 speed Shimano cassettes. These hubs are also compatible with Shimano Centerlock Disc Rotors.
The DT Swiss Hubs are held in place by 18 Sapim CX-Ray spokes on the front wheel and 24 Sapim CX-Ray spokes on the rear wheel. The Sapim CX-Ray spokes are super-light and aerodynamically sound spokes.
The DT Aero 45 Disc supports a maximum rider weight of 232Lbs or 105Kg.
