Our RD01 disc brake frameset is available in some great colorways or just bare carbon fiber if you do not want to show off your party side. Honestly, the pink splatter is incredible. The RD01 is a great value carbon fiber road disc brake bike frame, a frame your bank manager will love just as much as you will.
The RD01 is built using the finest Toray T700 carbon fiber cloth. The cloth is sculpted and laid up in such a way that it maximizes strength and stiffness. You’ll be able to build a bike that will help your tear up along all your local roads.
To help you fly along the road, we have used internal routing for you to hide your cables and hoses from the wind. Our routing is straightforward to use so don’t worry. To make sure your power is not lost we have also fitted an oversized BB386 bottom bracket, you won’t have a problem finding cranks to fit. Add this to the RD01’s tapered headtube, and you have a stiff frameset.
You’ll be able to stop safely and quickly thanks to the ability to fit flat mount disc calipers to this frameset. The thru axles that are installed front and rear will help to make sure you suffer no brake judder as you pull on the anchors.
You can also fit up to 35mm wide tires if you fancy trying some roads that are bit rougher and you need some more suspension. Remember wider tires are faster. The frame here would work nicely with our new wide tubeless ready Aero 50 disc wheels.
