FL40 Disc DT 240s/350s

We set out to build the best all-around carbon fibre disc brake wheelset, and with this wheelset, we feel we have managed it. We have taken our Toray T700 40mm deep rims and combined them DT Swiss hubs to make sure you have a great lightweight and reliable package.

Our 40mm rim comes from our Fast and Light category; these wheel rims are precisely what the name implies. We have constructed a wide rim shape out of Toray T700 carbon fibre, giving you a rim that is tubeless ready and guides air perfectly over the shape. Fit your tyres and pop some sealant in and all day you can be sure of not having to stop at the side of the road to fix punctures. The wide rim also creates a much more aerodynamic interface between your tyres and wheel rim, speed for free.

To go with this reliability we offer you either the DT Swiss 240S or 350S hubs both featuring a Centrelock disc mount, so make sure your rotors are Centrelock compatible. These hubs are industry leading in their reliability and serviceability; you need no tools to service these hubs. They both also feature the amazing DT Swiss star ratchet system.

To finish this package off, we have laced the wheels with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes are legendary due to their mixing of titanium weight but with the stiffness of non-butted spokes. Putting these qualities together makes these spokes highly fatigue resistant, keeping your wheels rolling straight and true.

Wide Rim Tech

25mm rim wide creates a better, more stable support, while the shape of the tire and rim together creates regular, stable air flow, in short, more aerodynamics, less attrition. provides an ideal basis for 25/28mm tires, the sizes currently popular.

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes

Use either traditional tires with tubes, or tubeless tires without tubes. Tubeless tires can provide lower rolling resistance and better protection from punctures.

High Quality Straight Pull Hub

Novatec straight pull hub with 4 pawls and high quality Japanese sealed EZO bearings, it can use 3-5 years under normal usage. Thousands of riders all over the world on these hubs and they are great performers and super durable.

Sapim CX-RAY As light as a titanium spoke

The CX-Ray still receives the best results in fatigue testing of any spoke. The CX-Ray aero spoke combines excellent aerodynamics with low weight and great strength. Not only are they more aerodynamic, they also make wheels lighter and stronger. Its unique strength and flexibility make the CX-Ray suitable for most bicycle disciplines. CX-Ray spokes are used by top bike racers and triathletes around the world.
