Our Fast and Light 40 wheel is a modern aero shaped 40mm deep carbon fibre rim. The name of the rim pretty much tells you what it is. The Fast and Light is precisely that. To be fast, we have designed a wider tubeless ready rim. The rim will neatly meet your tires and keep the surface layer of air from detaching for a longer period. Saving you from drag.

That is not the end of the story though. To keep the speed up your wheel needs to be stiff and true. The FL series is both. You will not have any unwanted brake scuffing with our rim. To finish off the rim we had to make sure it was light while keeping the above properties and that is why we constructed it from Toray T700 carbon fiber.

To match the quality of our rim, we could then only use the world leading Sapim CX-Ray spokes to lace it. These spokes are a strong, fast, and lightweight aero spoke.  These spokes connect the carbon rim to your choice of DT Swiss spokes.

You can pick from the more affordable DT Swiss 350S or, the lighter DT Swiss 240S. Either way, you’ll be getting that DT Swiss renown quality and quick pickup thanks to their star ratchet system.
