We have constructed this wheel around the use of 25/28mm tires. It is being shown that this width of tires, with a rim that is wider, will be faster in the real world. So we took Toray T700 carbon fiber and built you the strongest, stiffest, lightest, and most affordable carbon wide road bike rim. To go with the wider tires, we have made this rim tubeless ready. You can drop a few psi and add a lot more comfort to your ride and get this combined with extra speed and puncture resistance. Why would you want anything else?

We have laced our 50mm rim to your choice of DT Swiss hubs with Sapim CX-Ray spokes. These spokes combine lightweight with stiffness. The perfect compliment to our carbon fiber rim. Our 50mm rims will make you faster and so will the DT Swiss star ratchet drive.

The star ratchet drive means that you have an instantaneous connection between your pedal stroke and drive. This system comes with both the 350S and the 240S hub. They both contain sealed bearings that are serviceable without tools. The only difference is that the 350S hub is a little bit heavier. Regardless of the hub you pick, you will be buying speed and comfort.
