Do you want the best all-around aerodynamic wheelset for your cyclocross or gravel bike? Do you also want a set that will not break the bank but still be light, stiff, and reliable? Of course, you do, and that is why we have constructed the Fast and Light 55m disc brake wheelset, it’ll get you where you want to be faster than you can imagine.

To make the wheels as reliable as possible we have fitted sealed bearing Novatec hubs. The bearings in these wheels laugh at terrible weather and muddy fields and keep going long after other wheels have given up. These hubs are available with traditional quick release axles or in a thru axle options. The front thru-axles is available in either 15mm or 12mm thickness; the rear wheel is 142 x 12mm. Regardless of your frame and fork these disc brake hubs will fit your bike.

To lace these hubs to your new carbon fiber rims, we used Sapim CX-Ray spokes. CX-Ray spokes are butted in such a way that they are as light as titanium spokes but as strong as traditional spokes, and they do not fatigue in the same way other spokes do. These spokes keep your wheels stiff, which is great as our 55mm rim is super stiff.

To make sure our 55mm Fast and Light rims could be UCI certified we had to make sure we made the finest aerodynamic rims that we could. To do this, we have used the excellent Toray T700 carbon fiber cloth to layup an exceptional wide rim. We made the rim wider as this helped with building an aerodynamic shape that can fit wider tires, increasing your comfort and speed.

Wide Rim Tech

2-Way Clincher Tubeless. Tubes or No-Tubes
